Zusammen Bauen
von Gabi dan Droste and Martin Nachbar
Age 9 and over / Year 4 and above
Venue: Schillertheater-Werkstatt
A broken wooden object stands on the stage, like something from an adventure playground. What should be done with it? A group of children and adults aged 10 to 70 start to dismantle and rebuild it. They build, disassemble, reassemble and design, competing with one another and working together by turns. Together they work creatively with what’s there and come up with ideas for making something else. Everyday scenes, clashes, dances and funny moments all play out to the sensitive and captivating music of Erik Leuthäuser.
Zusammen Bauen asks how we can work together across different generations, and what often keeps us from doing so in real life.
