What do you feel when you try something new or when something unexpected happens?
This dance piece will be chaotic and fun! Because we are playing. Words are thrown, sentences are danced, quotes are hidden, and stories are told. In search of a shared adventure, we dive into the unexpected. Could this perhaps strengthen our belief that the world can be different from what it seems?
„Choreographing for Young Audiences“: Under this motto, we invite emerging artists to create for children and young people for the first time. In the second year of this series, we are excited to welcome Mariana Romagnani, a graduate of the MA in Choreography (maC) at the Inter-University Center for Dance (HZT). In her first dance piece for young audiences, „Um wieder anzufangen“ („To Begin Again“), she explores the power of play.

- The title of the event, by the way – contrary to common assumptions – has nothing to do with the word „blood.“ The term „blutjung“ actually comes from the Middle High German word „bluot,“ which means „blossom“ and also „to bloom.“ JUNGES BLUT is meant to invite fresh, „blossoming“ ideas to be brought to the stage together.
